Arroyo Valley High School (AVHS) has been recognized as one of only three schools in California to receive the prestigious 2026 AVID Teacher Advocacy Award, a distinguished honor presented by the national AVID Center in recognition of the school’s exceptional commitment to student success, educational equity and college and career readiness.

The San Bernardino High School varsity softball team capped off a remarkable season on Saturday by defeating Arroyo Valley High School 11-9 to claim the CIF Division 5 Southern California Regional Championship.

During its April 21 meeting, the San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) Board of Education honored Pacific High School for earning a 2026 California Exemplary Dual Enrollment Award from the California Department of Education (CDE).

The Arroyo Valley High School (AVHS) varsity softball team made school history on Saturday, May 30 when it beat San Bernardino High School (SBHS) 8-5 to earn the school’s first-ever CIF Championship.
